Currently, the “Alois Senefelder” Vocational School Center in Munich is considered Germany’s largest educational institution in the field of printing and bookbinding. To stay up to date with the latest technology, the school decided to purchase a new thread-sewing machine, which had to be installed in the basement of the school complex. This is where ZBV Fels GmbH, a specialist firm for machine transport and installation, came into play.
The machine was transported from the factory to its installation site in the basement. From the road closure in Munich, to hoisting the machine over the schoolyard in front of the basement window, to bringing it inside and lowering it into the classroom—the entire project was carried out without any damage and to the customer’s complete satisfaction. Even the fact that the classroom is accessible only via a staircase—making it impossible to bring in forklifts, assembly equipment, etc.—posed no problem. In the end, after successfully installing the machine, everyone was able to pat each other on the back—with a sense of pride—while enjoying a “Leberkässemmel.”
