Thanks to a constant exchange of information and detailed joint planning, the entire relocation project in southern Cologne was completed successfully and on schedule.
The challenge was coordinating the relocation of products and spare parts while operations continued. These items had to be moved from several individual warehouses and two deep basements within a tight timeframe. This involved completely removing the individual items from the shelving systems, packing them securely for transport, transporting them, and restocking them.
At the same time, production was gradually wound down at ZBV Fels and restarted at the new location. From the manufacture of the required oil collection pans in accordance with the provisions of the Water Resources Act to the disassembly and reassembly of various machines and systems, all tasks were successfully carried out by the trained ZBV Fels staff.
Even special requests, such as adjusting large conference tables during the office relocation, were fulfilled according to the customer’s specifications.
