At the beginning of the year, the new headquarters of a well-known nonprofit organization in Cologne was completed. This, of course, meant relocating employee workstations, conference rooms, archives, and IT equipment. In addition, the move had to take place over the weekend to minimize disruption to our client’s operations as much as possible. Since the unloading site was a new building, all walkways—including elevators, doors, and passageways—were lined and protected in advance to prevent any potential damage. The more than 1,700 moving boxes and just over 400.0 cubic meters of belongings were moved as scheduled from the three loading points to the five floors of the new building. This allowed all employees to start work on time in their new offices on Monday.
