Another project in recent weeks was the delivery and installation of two RA105-5Pro & RA105-4Pro printing presses from KBA at a customer in North Rhine-Westphalia. A total of 6 articulated trucks had to be unloaded over 2 days, the machine parts unpacked and successively installed. Both machines were delivered on time, so that ZBV Fels was able to start work and there was no downtime for the respective trucks or the assembly team.

The low ceiling height and the recently renovated industrial floor posed a further challenge. The machines had to be packed and brought in on pallets, as suspended transportation was not possible due to the limited size of the entrance door. Our special “Büffel” forklift truck was used to unload and bring in the machines. Thanks to its gas drive and compact design, it is ideal for driving into confined or enclosed spaces. Thanks to years of experience, the processes were quickly coordinated and the team brought in the parts one by one. The printing units were then lifted from the box bottoms, placed and aligned at the storage location.
